注：トルコと日本とでは学校制度(学年)が異なり、義務教育は６歳の幼稚園からで、小学校は７歳からです。

In Turkey, the students start school at the age of 6.
They have education at primary school for nine years (including 1 year kindergarten programme)in public schools.
Our school is a private school and students may start kindergarten at 5. It is up to the parents. Primary school, between the ages 6 - 14, is compulsory for all the girls and boys. Secondary school starts at the age of 14 and lasts four years. At 18, the students start university if they get enough points in matriculation. My students started our school at 6 and they have been learning English for 6 years.
